Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East in Dekalb, Illinois, is hiring a 2nd Shift Packer to inspect, pack, and prepare products for shipment in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Shifted hours are Monday–Friday 3:30 PM–2:00 AM and Saturday 10 AM–3 PM, with a pay rate of $16.40 per hour. This full-time role offers growth potential within a family-oriented team and environment.

Qualifications

• Bilingual a plus.

• Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience a plus, but not required.

About the Role:

We are seeking reliable, detail-oriented individuals to join our production team as 2nd Shift Packers. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, packing, and preparing products for shipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is an entry level role with a great family oriented team and company. Room for growth and advancement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect products for quality and consistency

• Pack products into boxes or containers according to company standards

• Label packages accurately and prepare them for shipment

• Maintain a clean and safe work area

• Follow all safety and quality guidelines

Qualifications:

• Bilingual a plus!

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience a plus, but not required

• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 10 lbs during an 8-hour shift

• Must be able to work third shift consistently

• Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
