Job summary

J&J Snack Foods Corp. is seeking a Packaging associate to manage the final stage of product production on the 6:00AM - 2:00PM shift. You will inspect sticks or cups, place products into shipping boxes, ensure accurate counts and proper coding, and support GMP and safety requirements.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, basic math and reading skills, and the ability to stand for the shift. Physical demands include lifting up to 25 lbs and working in cold environments.

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for the Final Stage of Product Production

Packaging employeesare responsible forpackaging all WIP into theappropriate pre-printedcartons and master cases.Master cases arepalletized with the date and item numberto allowfor tracking and then stored in the freezer. The Packaging positionrequires the employee to stand for the entire shift and may require items to be packedfrom a moving conveyor system.This function may requirelifting upto and including twenty-five (25lbs) throughout the shift.This position adheres to Housekeeping, Good Manufacturing Practices(GMP), Safety and allother CompanyRules and Policies.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Packaging

Finalinspection of sticks or cups for quality,prior to packing into retail or food service containers,packinginto shipping boxes, including proper product placement, correct counts and closure and coding.
