Job summary

80 Acres Farms is seeking a Packaging Associate to support our vertical farming operation in Ohio. You will package produce to specifications, operate packaging equipment safely, and help maintain clean, GMP-compliant work areas.

The role requires physical work, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and willingness to work a schedule that may include one weekend day. Training is provided, and benefits are offered from day one.

Work environment maintains an ambient temperature to ensure the quality of produce.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Packaging product according to specifications
• Operating packaging machinery in a safe and efficient manner

• Following good manufacturing practices to ensure continuous safety and efficiency
• Reporting all possible deficiencies or practices to the Supervisor that could compromise food safety
• Other duties as assigned
• Repetitive motion throughout the shift
• Exposure to 39 degree temperature (in Leafy pack) throughout the shift

What You Bring

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Capacity to stand/walk for the entirety of the shift
• Willingness to learn to operate machinery
• Ability to commit to a set schedule that may include one weekend day shift
• Ability to provide proof of work eligibility through E-Verify
