The Packer is responsible for packaging the finished product while ensuring quality, accuracy and adherence to safety standards. The Packer position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with a team, as well as possessing a positive attitude. You must be able to follow standard work instructions and pay strong attention to detail.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Performs packaging of finished material according to specific product type.

Must be quality conscious - Performs a visual inspection of product being packaged to ensure color and surface meet requirements.

Discard any product that does not meet specifications.

Must be safety conscious -Adhere to all safety policies within Mannington and specific to job being performed.

Must be prepared to work overtime/extended shift hours as necessary to meet the requirements of the Company.

Wears protective safety gear as required (i.e. gloves, safety glasses, ear plugs).

Physical Requirements:

Ability to perform duties which requires tolerance of standing, repetitive hand movements, continual bending and squatting

Ability to lift & carry up to 60 lbs.

Ability to acclimate to inside ambient temperatures
