Job Requirements

Summary: Packaging, winding, or bundling plastic parts at the end of an extrusion line.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Visually inspect parts to meet customer specifications using tape measure, caliper, or other measuring devices; record measurements and inspect parts visually.
• Ensure the proper number of pieces per box, bundle, or the correct footage per reel.
• Assemble cardboard boxes or reels for packaging parts.
• Place labels on boxes or reels.
• Place finished boxes or reels on a pallet.
• Wrap or band pallets of finished products.
• Move finished products using a pallet jack.
• Weigh scrap material, fill out the scrap ticket, and grind material if required.

Other Experience and Qualifications
