HOURS
- 1 opening: 8:00 P.M. to 8:15 A.M., 11:45 P.M. to 8:30 A.M., OFF on Sunday
- 2 openings: 8:15 A.M. to 8:15 P.M., 3:30 P.M. to 12:00 A.M., 11:45 P.M. to 8:15 A.M., OFF on Saturday
- 3rd shift: 7:15 A.M. to 4:15 P.M., approximately 43.5 hours/week
Responsibilities
- Performs routine packing tasks involved in the manufacturing of plastic bottles, following the information provided on the traveler.
- May operate box machines, tape, and glue gun as required.
- Follows prescribed procedures, performs duties such as packing and insertion of corrugated material.
- Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
- Verifies carton label information.
- Prepares boxes for packing.
- Able to pack bottles both in the production area and in the repack area when necessary.
- Able to operate various types of machines for packing.
- Reports any safety issues or accidents to the supervisor immediately.
- Follows site cGMP and safety requirements.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Skills: Ability to remember packing sequences, make decisions on bottle jams, meet deadlines.
- Education and experience: Basic math skills, effective reading and writing skills, punctuality.
- Physical requirements: Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, frequent bending, twisting, standing, and visual detection of defects.
Organizational Relationship: Reports to the Production Supervisor
