PART-TIME Warehouse Packer (Large) (Part-Time) (Noon-11pm)

Role Overview

As a Warehouse Packer, you will ensure the accurate and efficient packing of products to support our delivery commitments. Your responsibilities include verifying products, packing, labeling, operating warehouse equipment, and adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities

1. Verify products and match items to packing slips using item and vendor numbers, descriptions, and quantity through visual inspections, reference manuals or measuring instruments.
2. Count and pack items, including DOT regulated materials.
3. Fill boxes with packing material, pack and seal items, adhere shipping labels and shrink wrap.
4. Create bar code labels using item numbers, scan and apply labels into warehouse computer system, and scan packages for UPS invoicing.
5. Audit packages for accuracy or damage.
6. Load, unload and move product by hand or by skid.
7. Operate basic (electric pallet jack, forklift) and advanced (turret truck, order picker) powered equipment.
8. Follow safety guidelines at all times, meet productivity and quality expectations, and participate in the Work Clean program.

Qualifications

• Valid state driver’s license, if required
• Willingness to work overtime
• Certification to operate powered equipment within specified timeframes
• Physical ability to perform job functions (e.g., lifting up to 75 pounds, standing, walking, etc.)
