Job summary

Arrow International Inc is seeking a packaging technician to inspect for accuracy and pack sets according to manufacturing and customer specifications. You will ensure productivity, quality, and customer service while following company policies and suggesting process improvements.

Wage is $17.50/hr. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, the ability to lift up to 20 lbs, and the stamina to stand and walk throughout shifts. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and follow directions.
• Must be self-motivated and capable of working overtime if required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect for accuracy and pack like product sets per specifications.
• Check labels for accuracy and insert literature as required.
• Use tools and equipment safely and report any faults to supervision.
• Observe all safety rules and maintain a clean work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Perform duties to inspect for accuracy, pack and case like sets of product according to manufacturing and customer specifications. Safely performs position specific responsibilities to ensure a high level of productivity, quality and internal and external customer service while adhering to all relevant company policies and procedures. Identifies and recommends process improvements to streamline and increase efficiency of existing programs.

Wage is $17.50/hr.

Requirements

Essential Job Functions:

• Work from written and verbal instructions
• Pack products according to established packing procedures; inspect for quality, pattern and randomicity.
• Check labels or tags for accuracy; insert literature
• Exercise proper care in the use of tools, equipment, and materials
• Detect and report faulty equipment, defective material, improper operations, and unusual conditions to supervision
• Observe all prescribed safety rules and regulations and maintain work area in a neat and orderly condition
• Perform other duties as assigned

Education Requirements:

• High school diploma / GED equivalent

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.
• Constantly standing and walking throughout shift
• Gross and fine manipulation- grasping
• The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

• Must be self-motivated, self-sufficient and able to follow directions
• Must have excellent quality skills - an eye for detail
