Job summary

Resource Label Group is seeking a Packer to support our Finishing and Warehouse departments. The ideal candidate has warehouse or manufacturing experience, but we are willing to train for the right person.

Hours are Monday-Friday with overtime as needed. First shift runs 6 AM–2 PM; second shift 2 PM–10 PM with a $2/hr shift differential. Work location is on site in Des Plaines, IL.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Willing to be trained for duties as needed.
• Must be able to work in a team and handle physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Pull master rolls from Press Department and move to Finishing staging area to be used by Rewind operators.
• Assemble boxes for use in packing finished goods.
• Place rolls of finished product in cartons, tape and label cartons of finished goods.
• Place completed cartons on skid or cart.
• Label completed skids and take to scale for weighing.
• Convey finished skid to warehouse holding location to be placed into inventory.
• Replenishes stock of raw materials at each Rewind station and in the Rewind Area using pallet jack.
• Completes paperwork.

We are currently recruiting for a Packer to join our team! The Packer will play a crucial role in supporting our Finishing and Warehouse departments. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing type of environment however, we are willing to train!

• Hours are Monday-Friday, Overtime as needed

1st Shift 6 AM - 2 PM

2nd Shift 2 PM-10 PM - +2/hr shift differential**
