Job summary

GA Foods in Center Hill, FL is seeking a Packer to join our production and warehouse team. This full-time role focuses on hand-packing meal components, preparing shipments, maintaining records, and supporting general warehouse activities while complying with GMPs and food-safety standards.

Ideal candidates are reliable, detail-oriented, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and comfortable using basic warehouse equipment. Weekend work may be required based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food production, packing, or warehouse operations preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and understand instructions, labels, and safety information in English.
• Ability to pass all required screenings and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Hand-pack food components, meals, and other products according to production requirements and customer specifications.
• Perform tasks such as grasping, folding, boxing, lifting, stocking, pressing, and organizing items in a clean and efficient manner.
• Follow all GMPs, food safety protocols, and hygiene practices, including proper use of PPE.
• Inspect products at all stages to ensure quality standards and food safety regulations are met.
• Participate in sanitation and housekeeping activities in production and warehouse areas.
• Maintain accurate production logs, including quantities packed, product details, and deviations from standard procedures.
• Assist with receiving, unloading, and inspecting inbound products for accuracy and quality.
• Pull orders from stock and prepare products for shipment, including packing, labeling, and loading outbound trucks.
• Complete necessary paperwork and data entry for inventory control and shipping/receiving records.
• Assist in other production or warehouse duties as assigned by management.
