The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and adherence to work orders. Responsibilities include manual lifting, packaging, labeling, using forklifts, and maintaining a clean work area while following prescribed safety regulations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent preferred.
• Basic reading and math skills; must follow directions.
• Ability to read work order specifications and orders.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Performs production duties such as manual lifting, packaging, taping, labeling operations and sorting.
• Moves product and inventory using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual lifting.
• Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
• Measures and inspects product that comes off the line.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow all prescribed safety regulations.
• Break down cardboard for recycling as required.
• Other duties may be assigned based on the needs of the business.

Job Summary
