Job summary

The Simplot Company is seeking a Training Specialist to oversee and coordinate training across processing lines at the GF plant. This role focuses on developing training strategies, identifying SMEs, and ensuring all employees understand safety procedures, SOPs, and standard work to maintain high operational standards.

Candidates should have high school education, basic computer skills, and experience delivering training, with the ability to work independently and communicate in English.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting and delivering training.
• Must be able to read, understand, and communicate in English.
• Basic computer knowledge required.
• Must be able to use MS Office products.

Responsibilities

• Monitor training level of overall teams within scope and develop training strategy.
• Identify SMEs on each team to assist training efforts.
• Review training documents including safety docs, SOPs, standard work.
• Provide limited hands-on training as required.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and plant procedures.
• Maintain safety, quality, food safety and GMP standards.
• Maintain communication with team members and support groups.
• Handle additional duties to meet operational standards.
