Job summary

Eurofins USA BioPharma Services in San Jose, CA is seeking an entry-level Shipping/Receiving Technician to handle sample receipt, data entry and inventory tasks within the QA framework.

You will perform basic testing support, maintain records, and assist with customer updates while adhering to QMS guidelines. The role is Monday–Friday 8am–5pm with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and general computer literacy.
• Knowledge of ASTM standards is desired.
• Ability to lift bulky items up to 30 lbs, climb, bend and reach without restriction.

Responsibilities

• Receiving Customer samples and recording information in Shipping and receiving Log.
• Conduct Transit and Package Integrity Testing as Per ASTM Standards , ISTA standard or per Customer Protocol.
• Add Sample Information to Laboratory Inventory Management System and may include generating a Work Order
• Prepare Test Evidence Report.
• Entry level data review and data reporting, following good documentation practices
• Maintain Records of Packaging Testing.
• Monitor and Provide customer support regarding testing services provided.
• Update Customer on test Status, updates, results.
• Report any Deviation observed to operations Manager.
• Comply with Quality Management System (QMS) procedures and company policies

Job Description

• Production testing or related industry is desired but not required.

Additional Information

Position is full-time, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.

Candidates within a commutable distance of San Jose, CA.

Compensation: 22-30/hr
