Job summary

Eurofins USA BioPharma Services in San Jose, CA is seeking an entry-level position to support packaging and transit testing. Responsibilities include receiving samples, recording information, and assisting with QA documentation.

You will enter data into the Laboratory Inventory Management System, prepare Test Evidence Reports, and maintain records. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) with company match, and paid vacation.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Receive customer samples and log in Shipping and Receiving.
• Conduct transit and package integrity testing per ASTM/ISTA or customer protocol.
• Add sample information to Laboratory Inventory Management System and generate a Work Order if needed.
• Prepare Test Evidence Report and maintain records of packaging testing.
• Data entry for results and maintain QA documentation.
• Update customers on test status and report deviations to operations manager.

Job Description

• Receiving Customer samples and recording information in Shipping and receiving Log.
• Conduct Transit and Package Integrity Testing as Per ASTM Standards , ISTA standard or per Customer Protocol.
• Add Sample Information to Laboratory Inventory Management System and may include generating a Work Order
• Prepare Test Evidence Report.
• Entry level data review and data reporting, following good documentation practices
• Maintain Records of Packaging Testing.
• Monitor and Provide customer support regarding testing services provided.
• Update Customer on test Status, updates, results.
• Report any Deviation observed to operations Manager.
• Comply with Quality Management System (QMS) procedures and company policies

Qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D.
• Production testing or related industry is desired but not required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and General Computer Literacy is required.
• Knowledge of ASTM standards is desired.
• Ability to lift bulky items up to 30 lbs, climb, bend and reach without restriction is required.

Position is full-time, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Candidates within a commutable distance of San Jose, CA are encouraged to apply.

Compensation: 18-25/hr
