Job summary

Eurofins USA BioPharma Services in San Jose, CA is hiring for an entry-level Lab Support role focused on receiving samples, recording data, and supporting transit testing per ASTM and customer protocols.

You will enter information into the Laboratory Inventory Management System, maintain records, assist with test evidence reports, and provide customer updates while adhering to QMS procedures. This full-time position offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and general computer literacy.
• Knowledge of ASTM standards desired.
• Ability to lift bulky items up to 30 lbs, and to climb, bend and reach as needed.

Responsibilities

• Receive customer samples and record information in Shipping/Receiving log.
• Conduct transit and package integrity testing per ASTM, ISTA, or customer protocol.
• Add sample information to Laboratory Inventory Management System; generate a Work Order if needed.
• Prepare Test Evidence Reports and maintain records of packaging testing.
• Perform entry-level data review and data reporting per good documentation practices.
• Monitor and provide customer support regarding testing services.
• Update customers on test status, results and deviations to operations manager.
• Comply with Quality Management System (QMS) procedures and company policies.

Job Description

• Receiving Customer samples and recording information in Shipping and receiving Log.
• Conduct Transit and Package Integrity Testing as Per ASTM Standards , ISTA standard or per Customer Protocol.
• Add Sample Information to Laboratory Inventory Management System and may include generating a Work Order
• Prepare Test Evidence Report.
• Entry level data review and data reporting, following good documentation practices
• Maintain Records of Packaging Testing.
• Monitor and Provide customer support regarding testing services provided.
• Update Customer on test Status, updates, results.
• Report any Deviation observed to operations Manager.
• Comply with Quality Management System (QMS) procedures and company policies

Qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D.
• Production testing or related industry is desired but not required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and General Computer Literacy is required.
• Knowledge of ASTM standards is desired.
• Ability to lift bulky items up to 30 lbs, climb, bend and reach without restriction is required.

Additional Information

Position is full-time, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Candidates within a commutable distance of San Jose, CA are encouraged to apply.

Compensation: 22/hr-30/hr depending on qualification and related experience.
