Job summary

Eurofins USA BioPharma Services is seeking an entry-level Lab Support/Packaging Tester to join our San Jose facility. You will receive samples, document data, and perform transit and packaging testing per standards. The role includes analyzing results and updating customers on status.

Position is full-time, Monday–Friday with standard daytime hours. Compensation ranges from 22 to 30 USD per hour, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth within the Eurofins network.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and general computer literacy required.
• Knowledge of ASTM standards is desired.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs, climb, bend and reach without restriction.

Responsibilities

• Receive customer samples and record information.
• Conduct transit and package integrity testing per ASTM/ISTA standards or customer protocol.
• Add sample information to Laboratory Inventory Management System and generate work orders as needed.
• Prepare Test Evidence Reports.
• Perform entry-level data review and data reporting following good documentation practices.
• Maintain records of packaging testing.
• Provide customer support regarding testing services.
• Update customers on test status, results, and deviations.
• Comply with QMS procedures and company policies.

Job Description

• Receiving Customer samples and recording information in Shipping and receiving Log.
• Conduct Transit and Package Integrity Testing as Per ASTM Standards , ISTA standard or per Customer Protocol.
• Add Sample Information to Laboratory Inventory Management System and may include generating a Work Order
• Prepare Test Evidence Report.
• Entry level data review and data reporting, following good documentation practices
• Maintain Records of Packaging Testing.
• Monitor and Provide customer support regarding testing services provided.
• Update Customer on test Status, updates, results.
• Report any Deviation observed to operations Manager.
• Comply with Quality Management System (QMS) procedures and company policies

Qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D.
• Production testing or related industry is desired but not required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and General Computer Literacy is required.
• Knowledge of ASTM standards is desired.
• Ability to lift bulky items up to 30 lbs, climb, bend and reach without restriction is required.

Additional Information

Position is full-time, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Candidates within a commutable distance of San Jose, CA are encouraged to apply.

Compensation: 22/hr-30/hr depending on qualification and related experience.
