Job summary

Eurofins USA Consumer Product Testing is seeking a Laboratory Technician in Austin to conduct tests in accordance with standards, ensure calibrated equipment, and interface with Lab Managers and Project Coordinators.

This full-time position reports to the Engineering Manager. Schedule is Monday–Friday 8am–4pm. The role offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision, 401(k) with company match, paid vacation and holidays, and a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Four-year college Engineering degree or other technical degree with relevant work experience.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tests in accordance with standards and procedures, record results.
• Ensure test equipment is calibrated or tested and operates properly.
• Interface with Lab Managers, Team Leaders and Project Coordinators.
• Monitor multiple projects underway.
• Prepare test reports and related documents.

Laboratory Technician Responsibilities:

• Conduct tests in accordance with standards and procedures, record results.
• Ensure that test equipment is calibrated or tested and operates properly.
• Interface with and update the Lab Manager(s), Team Leader(s) and Project Coordinator(s).
• Monitors multiple projects underway.
• Prepare test reports and related documents.

• Keeps current with industry technical developments and disseminates to the team, as necessary.
• Support the laboratory managers and team leaders with assignments of new projects to technicians based on competency.
• Support the Austin team with coordination of testing activities.
• Support the laboratory managers with tracking of team utilization and identify potential issues (technical, procedural, and commercial).

Qualifications

• Four-year college Engineering degree, or other technical degree with relevant work experience
