Job summary

C.H. Guenther & Son, Inc. is seeking a Packer to maintain efficient production lines and ensure tortillas are packaged to spec. You’ll rotate across packaging tasks, operate bagging equipment, and document production data in the ERP system.

Safety and food safety compliance are essential, with QA responsibilities including pH verification and metal detection. Required 1–2 years in food manufacturing and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Weekend and shift flexibility are expected.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ experience operating or working with food manufacturing machinery/equipment.
• 1-2 years’ experience following work task specifications, SOPs, recipes, etc.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic math and calculator proficiency.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Pack tortillas and perform line rotations including packaging, boxing, and palletizing.
• Operate packaging equipment (Auto Baggers, Ilapak) and perform changeovers.
• Enter production data into ERP/Machine Log (TGI) and maintain accurate downtime records.
• Support QA tasks such as pH checks, metal detection, and line quality observations.
