Job summary

Faribault Foods in Tucson, AZ is seeking a packaging operator to ensure safe, efficient operation of packaging equipment and handling systems. You will support sanitation, CIP, and maintain clean workstations while aligning with KPI targets for safety, quality, and productivity.

The role involves cooperation with Quality Assurance, documentation, training of new staff, and possible overtime. Base pay is $17.08 per hour, with full-time, non-exempt status.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain packaging equipment on the line to ensure safety and quality.
• Partner with QA to ensure Safe, Quality Foods and compliance with GMPs.
• Complete daily paperwork and maintain records/logs for production and changes.
• Train new employees and participate in team and plant meetings.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance and report equipment issues to maintenance.
• Rotate positions and achieve equipment operation certifications across the unit.
• Work overtime and weekends as required and meet attendance policies.
