Job summary

Altium Packaging in Sherman, Texas, is seeking a Production Associate to join our 12hr - B Shift (7a-7:30p) team on site. The role involves monitoring conveyors, clearing jams, inspecting bottles, and ensuring correct labeling and packaging to meet customer requirements.

You will support material stocking, maintain clean workstations, and uphold safety practices, PPE usage, and company policies. Reasonable overtime may be required to meet production needs and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical skills required.
• Basic computer experience.
• Prefer High School diploma or GED.
• Completion of Altium Production/Packaging Associate I training within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Monitor conveyor belts and clear bottle jams from lines.
• Pick up dropped bottles from production floor and place into designated bins.
• Inspect the quality of bottles during production, packaging, and labeling.
• Perform bottle inspections, such as drop tests for designated lines.
• Immediately escalate all bottle abnormalities, defects and quality issues when found.
• Monitor supply levels of packaging materials and replenish as needed.
• Ensure correct labeling, bottle description and packaging of product in accordance with specific customer requirements.
• Move finished goods to designated area.
• Maintain inventory levels and restock supplies as needed to facilitate smooth transitions between shifts.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
