Job summary

The role includes setting up machine systems, performing changeovers, preventive maintenance, documentation, and adherence to 5S and EHS initiatives, with occasional travel and teamwork to support continuous improvement and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with automated/semi-automated packaging equipment and processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical/troubleshooting issues on packaging lines.
• Strong written and verbal communication for shift handoffs and documentation.
• Good interpersonal skills to coordinate with multiple teams.
• Understanding of computers and computerized controls on packaging equipment.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and pursue continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Perform shift start up paperwork and ensure smooth handoffs.
• Maintain top and bottom stock on each machine and replace components as needed.
• Set up and calibrate sensors, adjust machines, and track stock.
• Maintain ink levels, replace print plates during color changes, and handle changeovers.
• Perform preventive maintenance and schedule related services; document activities.
