Job summary

Leading Technology Composites, Inc. in Wichita, KS is seeking a Packaging Technician – Material Handler for 1st shift (Mon-Thu 6:00 AM–3:30 PM and Fri 6:00 AM–10:00 AM).

The role focuses on safe movement and storage of inventory and supporting distribution by loading outbound shipments. You will operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment, maintain a clean workspace, perform pre-use inspections, and follow hazardous materials procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience operating material handling equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and multi-shipment handling.
• Excellent communication with internal teams and external partners.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Commitment to safe practices in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Move product internally and load outbound shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
• Operate and maintain material-handling equipment with pre-use inspections.
• Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Follow procedures for handling hazardous materials when applicable and obtain necessary certifications.
• Lift heavy items safely and use team lifts when needed.
• Use measuring and weight recording devices and perform basic documentation.
