Qualifications

• Duties include prepping packaging materials, packaging product(s), cleaning work area, monitoring the product and equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Must follow safety standards and maintain product quality.
• Physical tasks such as lifting and walking may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery used in the production process, and/or assist machine setups.
• Observe equipment operations so that malfunctions can be detected and notify setups immediately.
• Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items, manually or using machines.
• Count finished products to determine if product orders are complete.
• Mark or tag the proper identification on packaging.
• Load and unload items from machines, conveyors, and conveyances.
• Clean and arrange equipment.
• On a regular basis, examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Record information to ensure the product meets specifications and tolerances.
