Job summary

CooperVision in the United States is seeking a Packaging Operator to operate packaging machinery on the production line, maintaining SOPs and WI’s, and supporting maintenance with fault resolution. The role requires adherence to GMPs, attention to quality, and willingness to work flexible hours including Saturdays.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED and about two years of packaging experience, with ability to read equipment dials, perform basic data checks, and communicate

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years’ experience in Packaging department or similar.
• Experience operating packaging equipment such as robotics, filling machines, case packs, labelers.
• Ability to read machine interfaces, gauges, dials and indicators to ensure proper operation.
• Basic math and computer skills for packaging software or data entry.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging machinery safely and in compliance with SOPs/WIs.
• Start/stop machinery and perform basic fault resolution.
• Perform printed data and quality inspection.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks and assist with fault diagnosis.
• Provide fault information when escalating to maintenance/engineers.
• Assist with machine upgrades, validations, and training of new processes.
