Operate different types of packaging machinery at varying stages of the production line with an unwavering commitment to optimizing production for customer service, while following all SOP's and WI's. Efficient and has the ability to prioritize tasks while multi-tasking. This role aims to support the Maintenance and Engineering department with identifying faults with packaging machinery. Implementing fixes where possible and supporting Engineers and activities when a higher level of knowledge or experience is needed.
The Packaging Production Technician is responsible for the daily production of FDA regulated medical devices by operating high speed automated and semi- automated packaging machines. Mindful of department metrics - OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), OTIF (on time in full) and Yield in the packaging department.
