Peet’s Coffee Inc. is seeking a Packaging Technician (Machine Operator) for 2nd shift in Minnesota. You will set up, operate, and monitor packaging equipment, perform quality checks, and maintain a safe, clean work area.

The role collaborates with production, maintenance, and quality teams to meet daily goals and food safety standards. This entry-level to mid-level position offers overtime and growth opportunities.

• Basic math, reading, and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate grinding and/or packaging equipment to process coffee according to the daily production schedule.
• Follow all workplace safety, food safety, and quality standards, including GMPs and SOPs.
• Perform quality checks, complete required production and quality records, and ensure product meets specifications.
• Monitor equipment performance and report issues to leadership; assist Maintenance/Engineering as needed.
• Assist with training and guiding team members and temporary workers at the workstation.

In this role, you’ll set up machines, make routine adjustments, perform quality checks, and work closely with production, maintenance, and quality partners to keep operations running smoothly.
