Job summary

Peet’s Coffee Inc. in Brooklyn Center, MN, is seeking a Production Team Member for the 3rd shift (11:30pm–7:00am).

You will help package and deliver our coffee, maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency in every step of the process. Responsibilities include packaging tasks, GMP compliance, documenting production data, performing cleaning, and supporting continuous improvement with a careful, detail-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1 year in industrial production preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow production docs, work instructions, and safety procedures.
• Basic math, reading, and written communication skills; basic computer skills.
• Experience in coffee or food manufacturing strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging line with speed and accuracy.
• Perform packaging activities: case filling, box assembly, pallet stacking.
• Follow safety, GMPs, and quality checks; report concerns to leadership.
• Assist with cleaning, sanitation, and material handling.

This position is responsible for meeting production goals efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and accuracy throughout the process.Schedule: This position works 3rd Shift, Monday–Friday from 11:30pm-7:00amPay: $17-18/hourWhat You Will Do:Collaborate with the production team to maintain a safe work environment, ensure product quality, and meet production goals.Perform packaging activities, including case filling, box assembly, and pallet stacking.Consistently follow all workplace safety policies, procedures, and requirements.Follow all food safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) to maintain product safety and quality.Report safety, quality, equipment, or production concerns to Leadership.Operate on a packaging line with consistent speed, accuracy, and attention to detail.Identify opportunities to improve productivity and efficiency without compromising safety or quality.Complete assigned cleaning and sanitation tasks to maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.Perform material handling and management tasks to support an organized and efficient production environment.Follow all written and verbal instructions, including safety and production procedures.Use computer applications to complete assigned production tasks and documentation.Perform quality checks and accurately document production and quality information.Who You Are:Positive, team-oriented attitude with the ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.Ability to follow multi-step procedures consistently and complete tasks accurately and efficiently.Professional and dependable, with a strong commitment to completing work on time.Adaptable and able to respond effectively to changing priorities while maintaining focus on results.Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining consistent attendance.Qualifications:Required:High school diploma or GED equivalentMinimum 1 year of experience in an industrial production or manufacturing environment.Ability to read, understand, and follow production documentation, work instructions, and safety proceduresBasic proficiency in math, reading, and written communicationBasic computer skills and ability to navigate standard workplace systemsAt least 1 year of experience in the coffee or food manufacturing industry is strongly preferred.Physical Demands:The physical demands for this position are seeing, hearing, speaking in addition to the following:Able condition to work 8 hour shifts while standing, lifting, bending, and reachingMust be able to work on your feet over 9 straight hoursAble to perform physical tasks that are repetitive and lift up to 30 lbs. on a regular basisMust be able to lift 80 pounds 20% of the shiftMust be able to endure constant leaning and bending during shiftMust be able to handle/move up to 750 pound bins on castersPhysical Requirements:The physical requirements for this position include sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and moving intermittently during working hours.
