Job summary

Altium Packaging in Tukwila, WA is hiring a Production Packaging Associate, an entry level role responsible for proper packaging of materials and finished products. You will load, move material and operate packaging equipment while following GMP.

The position requires basic math and computer skills, HS diploma preferred, and completion of the Altium training within 90 days. The job includes a 12-hour shift rotation and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical skills required.
• Basic computer experience.
• Completion of Altium Production/Packaging Associate I training within 90 days of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates safe work practices with PPE and safety policies.
• Punctual and adheres to the work schedule.
• Works well in a team and with others.
• Follows General Manufacturing Policies.
• Keeps work area neat, clean, and organized.
• Monitors conveyors and clears bottle jams.
• Collects dropped bottles and bins them.
• Inspects bottle quality during production and packaging.
• Performs bottle drop tests.
• Escalates bottle abnormalities and quality issues immediately.
• Monitors packaging materials and replenishes as needed.
• Ensures correct labeling and packaging per customer requirements.
• Moves finished goods to designated area.
• Prepares workstation setup and maintains inventories for shift transitions.
• Overtime may be required.
