Hours: Day shift (Mon - Fri / 7:00 am - 3:30 pm)
The Packaging Technician 1 & 2 responsibilities are to detect and identify defect trends during the inspection of manufactured products. Accurately inspecting and selecting product samples for both routine and non-routine quality and stability testing. Performing labeling activities and to verify product and diluent vial labeling used in the packaging of biological products for accuracy. The Packaging Technician 2 responsibilities are similar, with additional duties related to troubleshooting, equipment setup, and data review.
Additional duties include setting up, operating, and troubleshooting various packaging equipment, manual packaging, inspecting packaged products, conducting accurate counts, and operating material handling equipment.
Able to work effectively as a member of a team. Must pass annual vision testing for near vision and colorblindness. Able to identify product defects according to PDA Lexicon and SOPs. Capable of maintaining focus during tasks.
Similar to Tech 1, with additional operational and troubleshooting skills.
Work environment involves exposure to biological fluids, chemicals, machinery, noise, and extreme temperatures. Personal protective equipment required. Physical activities include standing, lifting, bending, and reaching. Must have good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
