Packaging Tech 1 / Packaging Tech 2
Hours: Day shift (Mon - Fri / 7:00 am - 3:30 pm)
The responsibilities of Packaging Technician 1 & 2 include detecting and identifying defect trends during inspection, accurately inspecting and selecting product samples for quality and stability testing, performing labeling activities, and verifying product and diluent vial labeling for accuracy.
Additional duties include setting up, operating, and troubleshooting packaging equipment, manual packaging, inspecting packaged products, conducting counts, and operating material handling equipment.
Tech 1: High School Diploma; experience in packaging operations or inspection preferred.
HS Diploma and 1-year packaging inspector/label verification experience, preferably in pharma or biotech.
Manufacturing setting with exposure to biological fluids, chemicals, machinery, noise, and extreme temperatures. Physical demands include standing, lifting, reaching, and manual dexterity.
