Mid America Pet Food is hiring a Packaging Technician to ensure the finished goods are accurately packaged and meet high quality standards. You will perform routine quality checks and maintain a safe, efficient work area in a fast-paced plant environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Willingness to learn new software applications.

• Ability to adapt to changing schedules and work demands.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, professional, and safe working environment in accordance with company safety protocols.
• Accurately package finished goods according to specifications and quality standards.
• Perform routine quality tests on packaged products and document results.
• Collaborate with Quality Control to review test results and ensure product quality.
• Identify and report any out-of-specification results to the Shift Manager.
• Maintain packaging supplies and communicate inventory needs to the Shift Manager.
