SEMO Milling, LLC is hiring Packaging Technicians at our Scott City, MO facility. This full-time role supports finished product transfer, packaging operations, and pallet/ trailer loading. Competitive pay starts at $18.00/hour with benefits and growth opportunities.

Primary duties include operating packaging equipment, moving product to trucks and railcars, forklift operation, and ensuring accuracy of paperwork and schedules. We value safety, teamwork, and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 50–100 lbs consistently from conveyor to truck/railcar.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Mechanical ability preferred.
• Consistent work attendance history.
• Packaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging equipment including scales, bag sealer, product conveyors.
• Physically move product from conveyors to trucks and railcars.
• Operate forklift in a safe manner including daily inspections and charging.
• Inspect trailers and verify orders on the schedule.
• Complete necessary paperwork for truck orders and labeling.
• Verify paperwork and seals to ensure correct product is shipped.
• Communicate with truck drivers to ensure timely delivery.
• Support packaging lead to ensure orders go out accurately.
• Inspect pallets for load readiness and safety.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
