Job summary

DecoPac, Inc. in Fife, WA is hiring a Packager for full-time 1st shift (7:00 AM–3:30 PM) and 2nd shift (3:30 PM–12:00 AM).

This role processes finished products for customer-specified packaging and supports a fast-paced production line. Responsibilities include inspecting products, gathering supplies, printing labels, assembling and labeling boxes, running items through a metal detector, counting outputs, and documenting work orders.

Qualifications

• Must be able to count product accurately.
• Meticulous attention to detail; well organized and able to apply logic to a variety of situations to solve complex problems.
• Records maintenance skills.
• Color acuity necessary.

Responsibilities

• Inspect finished products and discard defects
• Gather packaging supplies to package finished goods to match customer-specified orders
• Print labels to match packaged finished goods
• Assemble & label boxes
• Run product through metal detector to ensure food safety standards
• Count finished products to match specified label quantities
• Label and case finished products
• Complete work orders to document processed finished goods
