Job summary

The Marzetti Company in Kentucky is seeking a packaging operator to assist in running and maintaining a filling/packaging line at the Horse Cave Plant. You will inspect products, assemble boxes, palletize finished goods, and support line operations to ensure continuous production.

This role requires basic mechanical aptitude, the ability to read and follow directions, and good teamwork. The position offers a starting wage of 21.68 per hour and a Monday–Thursday first shift, with opportunities

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment with repetitive work is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with team members and management.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and good math skills are helpful.
• Ability to read and interpret written and verbal directions while working safely and productively.

Responsibilities

• Operate and assist in packaging lines to ensure continuous production.
• Set up machinery prior to shift start and maintain supply of packaging materials.
• Inspect products for quality and remove defective items.
• Assist in maintenance communications for minor machine issues and during line changes.
• Support training of others when necessary.
• Maintain safety, quality, and production standards.
