Job summary

Great Lakes Cheese Co. in Tennessee is seeking a Case Packer to operate the case packer and erector, maintain sanitation, and ensure packaging meets customer specs in a GMP-driven, safety-focused production area.

Responsibilities include reviewing production orders, packing and boxing, logging data on production reports, and communicating quality or safety issues to line personnel. MES/SAP experience is a plus; high school diploma is preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and related equipment.
• Ability to read and prepare production reports and comprehend production worksheets.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.

Responsibilities

• Maintain area, equipment, and personal sanitation.
• Operate case packer and case erector.
• Troubleshoot, clean, and maintain case packer.
• Review order specs and pack boxes.
• Quality checks to assure packaging meets customer specs.
• Directly communicate to line personnel on order specs and safety issues.
• Palletize product.
• Enter data on production reports.
• All GLC employees follow safety policies and QA programs.
