Job summary

MSD is seeking an Associate Packaging Technician at our Animal Health facility in De Soto, Kansas (near Kansas City). The role involves independent and team-based contributions to daily packaging tasks such as bottle labeling, packaging, palletization, and inventory reconciliation.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma or equivalent and demonstrate good communication, time management, and teamwork. Overtime may be required; MS Word/Excel skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Follow/comply with Manufacturing/Packaging Directions, SOPs, Policies.
• Time management to meet deadlines.
• Teamwork and initiative.
• Proficient with MS Word and MS Excel.
• Overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily production activities of sealed bottle label application, bottle packaging, palletization, process document completion, cycle counting, and inventory reconciliation.
• Complete documentation using Good Documentation Practices.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and apply basic problem‑solving skills.
