Job summary

Altium Packaging is seeking a Production Packaging Associate for the 2nd shift (3PM - 11:30PM) in City of Industry, CA. This entry-level role handles packaging, loading, material movement, and operating packaging equipment while following GMP guidelines.

Requirements include basic math and computer skills; preferred HS diploma or GED. Training in Altium Packaging Associate I will be completed within 90 days of hire. Overtime may be required. Competitive benefits offered.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates safe work practices by wearing correct PPE and following safety policies.
• Demonstrates punctuality and adheres to work schedule.
• Demonstrates a Teamwork attitude by working well and effectively with others.
• Adheres to company General Manufacturing Policies.
• Keeps the work area neat, clean, and organized.
• Monitors conveyor belts and clears bottle jams from lines.
• Picks up dropped bottles from production floor and places into bins.
• Places discarded bottles into grinder when applicable.
• Inspects bottles during production, packaging, and labeling.
• Performs bottle inspections, including drop tests.
• Escalates all bottle abnormalities, defects and quality issues.
• Monitors packaging material levels and replenishes as needed.
• Ensures correct labeling, bottle description and packaging per customer requirements.
• Moves finished goods to designated areas.
• Maintains setup and organization of workstations; restocks supplies between shifts.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
