Actalent in Lancaster, PA is seeking a Specimen Technician to support accessioning of frozen samples. You will sort, rack, register, label and store specimens while performing data entry and other duties assigned by leadership.

This is a contract, fully onsite role with a 10:00–18:30 schedule Wednesday through Saturday. Work in a cold lab environment with up to 50 lb lifting, and adherence to safety standards.

The work environment includes cold conditions and requires lifting up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment

The work schedule is Wednesday to Saturday, from 10 am to 6:30 pm. The dress code requires nails not to protrude through latex gloves to maintain safety standards. Employees can wear tee shirts with writing, provided it is not offensive or controversial, as a lab coat will cover their top half in the lab. Long pants are mandatory, with no tears or exposed ankles. Sweatpants are not allowed, and the use of yoga pants and leggings is under review for safety. Shoes must have no exposed skin, meaning no open toes or flip-flops. The company offers amenities such as a full gym, cafeteria, and team-building activities like food trucks and sundaes. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
