Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in food manufacturing, packaging, production, or machine operation required.
• Experience operating packaging machinery strongly preferred.
• Ability to read and follow SOPs, work instructions, and production specifications.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to identify quality issues and take appropriate action.
• Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor packaging machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Set up, adjust, and make minor operational changes to packaging equipment as needed.
• Ensure proper packaging materials, labels, codes, and product specifications are being used.
• Monitor packaging lines for proper weight, seals, labels, dates, and overall product presentation.
• Perform quality checks and report issues to supervisor or QA team.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment and packaging issues and communicate maintenance needs.
• Assist with line changeovers, product changes, and start-ups.
• Maintain accurate production, quality, and equipment records.
