Job summary

Mars Incorporated seeks a packaging operations professional to ensure safe blending of kibble and high quality finished products. You will operate and troubleshoot Big Bag and Small Bag lines, stage materials, and maintain cleanliness and safety on the packaging floor.

Responsibilities include training associates, maintaining logs and SOPs, and supporting continuous improvement. The role requires problem solving, teamwork and the ability to meet production schedules.

Qualifications

• Must have strong math and problem-solving abilities.
• Clear communication and writing skills are required.
• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to train other packaging associates.
• Experience with rotating schedules is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and oversee packaging lines (Big Bag and Small Bag) through scheduling, changeovers and troubleshooting.
• Maintain quality checks, conformance reports and logs; ensure safety and product integrity.
• Provide materials and tools to lines; stage materials and return unused items.
• Train other associates and participate in safety and process improvement initiatives.
• Escalate quality and safety concerns; support maintenance and engineering on upgrades.
