FX Matt Brewery in Utica, NY is seeking a hands-on Packaging Supervisor to lead a skilled team across packaging operations. This frontline leadership role is accountable for line efficiency, labor utilization, cost control, quality and safety on every shift and run.

You will drive the daily production schedule, reduce downtime, develop SOPs, and foster a culture of continuous improvement in a SQF-certified environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of supervisory experience in food and beverage or CPG manufacturing.
• Proven ability to manage labor efficiency, control costs, and drive line performance improvements.
• Experience developing and implementing SOPs in a regulated manufacturing setting.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills; comfortable presenting to all levels.
• Detail-oriented with flexibility to work extended or off-shift hours as business demands require.

Responsabilités

• Drive daily and weekly production schedule across all packaging lines.
• Continuously monitor line performance; identify and resolve bottlenecks, downtime, and throughput issues in real time.
• Lead daily shift meetings to align the team on priorities, safety topics, and production targets.
• Coordinate with maintenance staff to minimize unplanned downtime and support preventive maintenance execution.
• Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of a robust SOP program for all packaging and sanitation operations.
• Report production results and variance explanations to brewery leadership on a timely basis.
