Job summary

Genpak is seeking a Packaging Associate in Texas to perform final reviews of finished products and packaging materials, ensuring quality and proper labeling. You will package products for all lines, operate packaging equipment, and assist in lean initiatives.

The role requires the ability to stand on a cement floor, lift up to 30 lbs, and work in a team environment with adherence to GMP/SQF standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or industrial settings preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk on cement, lift up to 30 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Good math and ability to apply packaging specifications and labeling.
• Willingness to follow GMP, SQF, SWP and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect finished products and packaging materials.
• Package product types for all lines and ensure labeling and dimensions meet specs.
• Operate packaging equipment and reset inkjet printers as needed.
• Communicate concerns to supervisors and participate in Lean/5S initiatives.
• Restock packaging materials and assist in scrap management.
