Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Packer/Handler at our Pittston, PA facility. The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds frequently, and performing duties to support production lines with accuracy and speed.

You will inspect, label, and pack products while adhering to safety protocols and company values. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or equivalent and willingness to work weekends and overtime.

Qualifications

• Regularly required to stand for long periods; use hands to finger, handle, or feel, objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms.
• Good hand-eye coordination is required.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to frequently lift, bend, and reach to perform necessary job functions.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Inspect product to ensure quality and set aside below-standard items.
• Notify Team Leader or Supervisor of safety, machinery or quality concerns.
• Document information on production and downtime reports.
• Assemble product by installing gaskets in lids and handles in containers; follow production cycles.
