Job summary

Octopi Brewing in Madison, Wisconsin, is seeking a Packaging Specialist to operate bottle, can, variety pack, and kegging lines across multiple shifts. You will perform changeovers, routine maintenance, verify packaging specifications, log data, take samples, and safely move products with a forklift.

This full-time role requires a high school diploma, ability to stand 8+ hours in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to lift 55 lbs and move 165 lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Pull samples and take measurements to keep quality on track.
• Safely operate a forklift to move product between production and storage.

Founded in 2014 as a Wisconsin contract brewery, Octopi has spent over a decade brewing and packaging beer, seltzers, RTDs, and sodas for clients nationwide. In 2024, Asahi — brewers of Asahi Super Dry — acquired Octopi, making us the U.S. production home of Asahi Super Dry. Every batch we brew has to get packaged, and that's where you come in. As Octopi keeps growing as the U.S. home of Asahi Super Dry, we're adding Packaging Specialists across shifts to keep our lines running strong.

PAY BY SHIFT

Base rate for this role is $22.00/hr. Shifts outside of 1st shift include an additional shift differential on top of that base — never a lower starting rate, just added pay for the shift.
