Nestlé Health Science is seeking a Packaging Safety & Compliance Senior Specialist to lead packaging safety and regulatory compliance across our Nutrition & Health portfolio. Location preference near Eau Claire WI, Franklin Park IL, or Savannah GA, with on-site support as needed.

The role partners with cross-functional teams to ensure material safety, DoC management, and compliance during innovation, renovation, and acquisitions, while building training and capability across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Plastics Engineering, Material Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in packaging compliance, regulatory, quality, or food industry environments.
• Knowledge of food-contact regulations, regulatory compliance, and food safety requirements.
• Experience interpreting and applying domestic and global regulatory standards.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Responsabilités

• Lead packaging safety and food-contact compliance programs across the Nutrition & Health portfolio.
• Ensure packaging materials comply with Nestlé policies, global standards, and applicable regulations.
• Serve as the primary subject matter expert, providing guidance to cross-functional teams.
• Approve packaging compliance decisions within established governance and risk frameworks.
• Identify and mitigate packaging-related risks to protect consumers, business continuity, and brand reputation.
• Support compliance with customer, retailer, and market-specific packaging requirements.
