Job summary

Altium Packaging in Spokane is seeking a Production/Packaging Associate for the 3rd shift. You will follow PPE and safety policies, monitor lines, inspect bottles for quality, and assist with labeling and packaging to meet customer specifications.

The role requires basic math and computer skills, a high school diploma or GED, and completion of Altium training within 90 days of hire. Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds is expected.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical skills required.
• Basic computer experience.
• Completion of Altium Production/Packaging Associate I, training within 90 days of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates safe work practices by wearing correct PPE and following safety policies.
• Demonstrates punctuality and adheres to work schedule.
• Demonstrates a Teamwork attitude by working well and effectively with others.
• Adheres to company General Manufacturing Policies.
• Keen attention to keeping the work area neat, clean, and organized.
• Monitor conveyor belts and clear bottle jams from lines.
• Place discarded bottles into grinder, if applicable.
• Inspects bottle quality during production, packaging, and labeling.
• Performs bottle inspections, such as drop tests for designated lines.
• Escalates all bottle abnormalities, defects and quality issues when found.
• Monitor supply levels of packaging materials and replenish as needed.
• Ensure correct labeling, bottle description and packaging of product per customer requirements.
• Move finished goods to designated area.
• Maintain inventory levels and restock supplies to facilitate smooth shift transitions.
