Job summary

Rust‑Oleum Corporation in Brooklyn Park, MN is seeking a Production Associate to operate, monitor, and adjust filling and packaging equipment to safely produce high-quality products. You will perform basic maintenance, keep accurate production records, and support TPM; candidates should have 1–3 years of related experience, a high school diploma, and good English communication.

The role is full-time, on-site, with standard shifts and a comprehensive benefits package after eligibility.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of related experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to read and understand various meters, scales and electronic read outs.
• Ability to enter computer data.
• Good mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to solve problems in a team environment.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Review job orders to determine quantities, production times, stock specifications, BOMs, and SKU sequences.
• Set and adjust speed, temperature, product flow, positions and tolerances of equipment.
• Operate equipment at most efficient speed to ensure quality and output.
• Monitor filling equipment to maintain specified levels and detect malfunctions.
• Stop machines when malfunctions occur, clear jams, and report to operator/lead/maintenance.
• Change over or adjust equipment to improve performance and quality.
• Inspect and examine products for quality and packaging accuracy.
• Secure finished packaged items by gluing, stapling, wrapping, taping, or attaching fasteners.
• Load and unload materials from machines, conveyors, and containers.
• Perform TPM per requirements; record weight, count, time, scrap and date packaged.
• Stock and sort product for packaging or filling machine operation; replenish packaging supplies.
• Ensure appropriate inventory transactions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
