At Labelmaster, we are more than just labels. We sell Hazmat Packaging and are looking for your help to increase sales! We seek an assertive sales professional with proven success in selling packaging to the chemical industry and who is skilled at identifying opportunities.

We assist both small and large businesses in simplifying the process of moving and shipping hazardous materials, making the world safer. Hazardous materials include items like lithium batteries, paints, chemicals, and more. Incorrect shipping can cause significant damage.

Our role in making the world safer involves selling innovative products, developing technology, and consulting across various industries such as manufacturing, healthcare, automotive, and transportation. We think dangerous goods are fascinating and invite you to join us as we expand into new markets.

The primary duties of our Packaging Products Business Development Manager include identifying business opportunities, building relationships with prospects and clients, collaborating on strategic planning, evaluating business performance, and expanding market reach.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth of new packaging products by engaging potential and existing customers in the chemical industry
  • Achieve revenue goals by qualifying and closing opportunities, prospects, and growth accounts
  • Assist customers in navigating complex information to make informed decisions at all levels, including C-suite
  • Assess customer information needs, facilitate understanding, and connect them with relevant tools and data
  • Develop a robust opportunity pipeline using sales, marketing, social media, and CRM tools
  • Align sales strategies with the client’s learning style
  • Create campaigns and utilize virtual sales techniques (cold-calling, emailing, LinkedIn, CRM) to generate new business within assigned regions
  • Coordinate with internal teams to support the sales process and implementation
  • Become a subject matter expert on our products, processes, and industry trends
  • Willingness to travel at least 50%
  • Work effectively with minimal supervision

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in Business Development or Account Management
  • 3+ years selling products/services to the chemical industry
  • At least 1 year selling packaging to the chemical sector
  • Strong sales, client engagement, and business growth skills
  • Proven sales success record
  • Consultative approach with a passion for helping customers
  • Growth mindset and focus on delivering long-term value
  • Initiative, entrepreneurial spirit, and attention to detail
  • Curiosity and resourcefulness
  • Excellent listening and probing skills
  • Deep industry and product knowledge
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Dynamics CRM, Excel, LinkedIn
  • Ability to network and identify key decision-makers
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Sense of urgency and high initiative
