Job summary

Danone U.S. is seeking a Production Intern based in West Jordan, UT to support the Packaging department in a yogurt manufacturing facility.

You will supervise daily production, manage schedule changes, train operators, and maintain SOPs and standards to ensure GMP compliance. Key responsibilities include leading operators on the floor, driving improvements, performing time studies, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Junior, Senior, or recent graduate in Engineering or a related field.
• Previous work in food manufacturing preferred but not required.
• Strong teamwork and adaptability in a changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and development for operators through short interval management.
• Own assigned production area and drive improvements.
• Collaborate with managers and operators to enhance efficiency.
• Lead changeover and CIP process improvements.
• Conduct time studies and drive OE improvements on packaging lines.
• Develop root cause analyses to realign performance.
• Create SOPs for new processes.
