Smurfit Westrock Company is seeking a Production Associate for the Minneapolis, MN area to support quick-moving manufacturing operations in a non-climate controlled plant. The role includes safely handling corrugated products, performing quality checks, setting up materials and keeping the workspace clean and organized.

Qualifications

• Able to operate and understand manufacturing equipment and perform basic maintenance.
• Willing to work in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment.
• Must read safety rules and operating/maintenance instructions.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long shifts.
• Flexibility to work longer hours including nights and weekends.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform a wide range of tasks supporting the manufacturing areas, including handling corrugated products and maintaining a clean workspace.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure product meets specifications.
• Set up materials and document production data.
• Prepare completed material for movement to the next operation.
• Assist in daily and weekly production records and make-readies as directed.
